During the process of dealing with my sister’s move to hospice and her imminent passing, I had to acknowledge that the stress and concerns were affecting me both emotionally and physically. Although, I was attempting to take care of myself and to assure I got enough sleep, I knew I needed to address my symptoms on an energetic level. I booked a Sacred Sound Session with Carolyn Vinup.

The ambiance alone was enough to unwind the knots in my energy field. It was clear to me that everything was placed with intention and care and good Feng Shui. The healing began before I was even on the table. But there was definitely more to come.

For nearly 45 minutes Carolyn used her various bowls to heal my sorrow and to infuse peace and acceptance. Some of the bowls were held above my body for maximum integration of their sound; others remained in place, letting their vibrations fill the entire room and me as well. At one point, Carolyn added her voice with a chant of Divine Love. Every phase of the Sacred Sound Session was my favorite until the next phase, when that became my favorite.

The experience was book-ended by Carolyn’s thoughtful insights. The theme that unfolded for me as part of the Sacred Sound Session was “What would love do?”—-a question I can ponder about my sister as well as about myself. It gave me a perspective not only on the passing of a significant person in my life but a perspective on my own well-being. This was a truly meaningful and sacred experience, giving me the strength and clarity to face a difficult situation. (DOWNLOAD STORY)
